Marc Sutin is President of Intuitive Analysis, LLC, an investment consulting firm. As President he serves as analyst, publisher and communicator of the firm’s outlook for the financial markets.
Marc has been an observer of the financial markets since the mid 1970’s. He employs an eclectic mix of macro-economic, technical and inter-market analysis to develop investment and trading strategies for equity investment professionals. He has a well-earned reputation for insightful and timely commentary on the financial markets.
Marc has served in the roles of trading desk analyst/strategist, investment strategist, technical analyst and as an options/convertible security portfolio manager in a career that spans 41 years.
Marc realizes that investment managers and traders have to sift through an increasingly large amount of data to make their decisions. In this complex environment Marc provides a unique and useful perspective integrating his analysis of the technical position of the stock market with his knowledge of the relationships between economic data and movements in the financial markets.
Before creating Intuitive Analysis LLC Marc held the position of Financial Markets Strategist at the Fig Group LLC. From 1998 thru 2011 Marc was the Senior Technical Strategist/Desk Analyst at Knight Capital Americas L.P where he worked on the trading desk providing guidance to traders, market makers and institutional sales staff. Earlier in his career Marc worked with Ken Safian as the Senior Investment Strategist at Safian Investment Research an investment strategy boutique and as a Technical Analyst at Merrill Lynch with Robert Farrell. Marc has an MBA in Finance from New York University and a B.S. in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.
